DIGITIZING SERVICES AT MIMI'S EMBROIDERY:

A one-time fee is assessed for the design to be digitized. The fee is determined by the complexity of the design and the design is yours to keep forever. Once a design is created it can be used countless times.

Digitizing is the skillful art of converting a design into a language that can be recognized and interpreted by the commercial embroidery machine. The digitizer utilizes specific software that translates the bmp, tiff, jpg, or pdf file into a design to be sewn by the machine. The digitizer chooses the order to stitch and which functions to use such as cut, needle change, etc. The design is created on the computer and saved to a memory card. The memory card is inserted into the machine and colors are chosen. Then the machine stitches the design.

I offer digitizing services. If you have a specific logo you want embroidered, please send the file or artwork. I will have it digitized and stitch it out. I will send you a digital picture of the design before it is placed on your chosen product. Nothing is sewn until it meets your approval.

If you send a logo or design, please make sure you own the rights to the design. I require a signed statement stating you have the right to have the design reproduced. Copyright laws are in effect to ensure that the rightful owner’s rights are not violated. I need a contact name and phone number to verify that you indeed have ownership rights or can obtain permission from the rightful owner. I also need a signed release from you accepting responsibility for the design.
